Pepper Jelly Glazed Chicken
Ingredients
• 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
• 1 teaspoon of onion powder
• 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon of paprika
• 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
• 2 tablespoons of olive oil
• ½ cup of pepper jelly
• 2 tablespoons of honey
• 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
• 2 tablespoons of fresh chopped parsley
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, mix together onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and oregano together forming a seasoning blend.
2. Rub seasoning blend onto both sides of each chicken breast and set aside.
3. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together pepper jelly, honey, apple cider vinegar, and parsley.
4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once skillet is hot, add chicken breasts and cook for about 3 minutes per side. Reduce heat if chicken starts to blacken too quickly.
5. Once chicken is cooked through, reduce heat to medium-low and pour pepper jelly mixture over chicken. Cover skillet and simmer for 3-5 minutes.
6. Serve chicken topped with your choice of spice pepper jelly spread & enjoy!
